Our washer dryer always takes a while to go thru a cycle, but a few days ago the clothing was coming out smelling awful. I was able to place the claim online and two days later got serviced by a friendly gentleman who explained what he was doing as he went about his job. The clothing smells much better now.

Customer care is top notch in my opinion. As well I appreciate the follow up when they make sure it went well and you are satisfied. If you’re looking for a home warranty go with AHS I think they’re the most efficient at solving issues quickly and the work the contractors do really lasts a long time.

This past Sunday, August 20th, I noticed my refrigerator wasn’t cooling properly. I called in to AHS. I answered by a friendly service rep who was happy to hear my concerns. We scheduled a service call for the next day, Monday. Monday afternoon the contractor showed up within the window given, and repaired my refrigerator with no problems It’s all good now.

When our tenant was left with a broken appliance, I called and they sent someone out to determine the problem. He said it would be cheaper to replace it, and they sent my tenant a check for an amount he was happy with. I’m satisfied with the service and so is my tenant.

My water heater wasn’t working, I called ahs, customer service was very polite and explained the process to me as I am not familiar with how this works. The vendor came out and was able to fix the problem within two hours. Hurray we have hot water again!! My experience has been marvelous I will be renewing!

My AC went out 5 weeks ago. Still trying to get it fixed. So first they send out the AC guy, he goes “ you need an electrician” so we finally get an electrician and he goes “ you guys need an HVAC guy. Great. We already paid these two clowns now we have to wait for another vendor to find time in his busy schedule and meanwhile NO AC!! in this hot weather!! we are not managing this warranty has been a huge let down of you didn’t sign up yet take our advice and dont!!!

I called to inform about my water heater which wasn’t working as usual. I was told to contact one company, who said they couldn’t come out for at least a week. So I informed them and they told me to contact a different company, which answered promptly and came out the next day. They were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Very happy with them!

I’m generally a skeptic, but I must say that I’m going to have to start investing the bucks in my home warranty because it’s been worthwhile so far. I’ve had a major appliance completely replaced when they determined it would cost more to fix it, as well as some small appliances, so it’s been a great investment.

When we bought our house, the realtor recommended that we get a home warranty.So far we have been pleased with the service. Customer service is friendly and really shows their concern for the problem. The service vendors usually show up within 24-48 hours, and even if we have to wait for a part it doesn’t take very long for the repair to be completed. So far our experience has been positive.

When my dryer broke down, I was able to submit the request online and received a phone call shortly afterward, then I was told a technician would call me shortly and he did, I described the issue to him and he came out and did the repair the very next day. My dryer has been working fine ever since.

When my furnace stopped working, I AHS called to place the claim. They immediately sent me a claim number and promised to send out a repair company ASAP. After contacting me and setting up a time, Bob arrived as scheduled and fixed the furnace within 2 hours. I am very grateful and will definitely spread the word!

Our AC unit went out right before July 4th weekend. You guys got a repair service out right away which was greatly appreciated since we were having our family over for the weekend. Greatly appreciated! Will recommend!

My warranty paid for itself within a few months. We have had a few major repairs that would have cost us big time. Definitely worth the investment.

The reps over at AHS were extremely courteous and encouraged me to ask any questions I had concerning the policy when I signed up for it. They explained to me exactly how to place my claim, which came in handy when we had an issue with our dishwasher. Thankfully, the issue was taken care of swiftly and professionally.

I am a longtime member of ahs. I have saved a lot of money although the premiums have gone up over the years, but that is understandable. It’s so simple to place your claim online, and have the tech contact you directly. You can be assured that no matter what happens, they got you covered.

Worst company ever. They refused to cover my HVAC system! What are they good for? When I signed up I made sure it was covered but I missed some fine print that says I don’t know what but they’re using it to deny my claim. Seriously?!

When I had a plumbing emergency, I placed the call to American Home Shield to place the claim. My claim was started right away, and by the next day everything was fixed! What amazing service I am very impressed!

I love my AHS warranty! Customer reps are helpful and polite. Service provider was prompt and friendly, explaining everything to us so we could prevent the issue from reoccurring. Very satisfied!

In general, the service from AHS within the last year has been satisfactory. This review is to advise new AHS customers that you can expect annual price increases without any email or mail notice from AHS. They will issue a new contact in your online account with new pricing without specific client approval. That is their policy as explained to me from the AHS retention department. AHS

The first contractor didn’t call and didn’t return my call so another contractor was assigned. The second contractor has been great. A part needed to be ordered and so the repair isn’t complete as of yet, but I don’t expect a problem, this contractor seems to be on top of things and is quick to return calls.

My last experienced was a repair on my washing machine. There was some difficulty in AHS locating a vendor for my repair. This lasted for three weeks without notification until I called to complain. Shortly thereafter a vendor was located. The contractor was fantastic. He repaired my washer in a mater of minutes and was very accommodating.

First off, if you don’t have qualified repair agents coming to fix what’s the point of having a home warranty service. All repair companies coming out have horrible service reviews. Even the BBB give them poor points. Do not use AHS unless you want the runaround. I was told by a repair guy that they are not supposed to ever do anything more than a band aide on the issue. Take it from me…not worth it.

The technicians contracted for service calls are not always the best. I had a recent a/c issue and because it was the coils it was not covered. It was considered maintenance. So read the fine print. Also, their service hours are not the most convenient. They say 24 hours but actually after business hours and weekend and holidays are covered by a message service. Overall I did not find them to be the best investment.
